People with Down syndrome have an extra chromosome, so this race has a little something EXTRA too – Official times will be recorded at the 5K finish line, then runners will go on to DASH the extra 0.11 miles to finish at 3.21 miles, in honor of the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome present in people with Down syndrome. And if you’re lucky, you may be accompanied through the second finish line by DASHers with Down syndrome to cheer you on and thank you for your support! Sign up TODAY!!

Our FIRST 5K... with a little something EXTRA! Our 3.21 Dash for Down Syndrome will have a traditional 5K finish at 3.1 miles but have an extra dash to 3.21 since people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of the 21st chromosome!
